On August 20, 2020, in Novosibirsk, an Agreement was signed on cooperation between the Union of Procurers and Processors of wild plants with the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Science Siberian Federal Scientific Center of Agrobiotechnology of the Russian Academy of Sciences(SFSCA RAS).
The agreement defines the principles of interaction between the parties to create and develop a sustainable market for the collection, procurement and processing of products from wild plants (mushrooms, berries, nuts, other wild plants), as well as organic products from wild plants in the Novosibirsk region.
As part of the negotiations, a work plan was determined to create a geoinformation system for accounting for the raw material database of the Novosibirsk region, taking into account the areas of growth of wild plants in the regions of the region. The work plan was proposed by the staff of SFSCA RAS, approved by the members of the Union, other industry specialists (Kalichkin V.K., Ozheredov V.P., Bobyleva N.N., Borozdenko D.I., Parakin S.A.) and includes : - formation of the NSR raw material database;
-creation of a conceptual model of knowledge on wild plants in the Novosibirsk region;
- collection, analysis and systematization of data on the volumes and areas of growth of wild plants in the Novosibirsk region;
- classification of forest resources and medicinal plants by districts of the region;
- digitalization of source material and binding of the latter with a geodetic basis;
- design of custom maps of NSO wild plants;
- others.
