On February 6, 2020, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation held the first working meeting on the harvesting and processing of wild fruits, berries and other wild raw materials in the Russian Federation. The meeting presented a draft action plan ("road map") for the development of harvesting, processing, storage of wild raw materials and the turnover of food products made from wild raw materials; covered issues of legalizing herbs raw materials for further processing and export, create a modern industrial distribution infrastructure, requirements for specialized procurement items, as well as the development of a draft national standard in the field of organic production of wild-growing raw materials, exports of wild plants, including the question of import duties on puree and concentrated juice of the cranberry, blueberry, cranberry, wild strawberry, raspberry, black and red currants.
